Living Traditions Nepal
A seven-day community-based journey learning from local hosts and traditional knowledge-holders, built around consent and fair payment to the communities involved.
Best for: Conscious cultural traveler
Destinations: Chitwan, Bandipur
Overview
This journey is hosted by communities and traditional knowledge-holders rather than run as a standard sightseeing tour: time with local hosts, traditional food, and stories and knowledge shared on the community's own terms. Nothing here promises access to ceremonies or knowledge that hosts don't ordinarily share with visitors, and community partners are paid transparently as part of the program's cost.
