The Practitioners Behind Our Journeys
September 18, 2026 · Site Administrator
Our journeys are led by a mix of local guides, yoga and meditation instructors, sound healing facilitators, and Ayurvedic practitioners, depending on the program. Rather than running every trip through a single in-house team, we work with practitioners based in the regions where each journey takes place, so the person leading a session has a real, ongoing relationship to that place and practice rather than flying in for the occasion.
When we bring on a practitioner, we look for a combination of relevant training or lineage, experience working with international guests, and — for anything touching cultural or religious sites — a track record of representing those traditions responsibly rather than performing a simplified version of them for visitors. For practices with a clinical-sounding name (Ayurveda, Reiki, sound healing), we're explicit with practitioners that these are offered as wellness and cultural practices, not medical treatment, and that framing carries through into how sessions are actually run.
This page will grow into individual practitioner profiles and interviews as we publish them — for now, consider it context for who you're likely to meet on a journey, and what we look for before someone joins our network.
